Would I be a candidate for jaw surgery to shorten mid face? (Photo)

Question

I feel as though my face is too long. I'm not sure if it's caused by my jaw position or something else. My teeth are straight and aligned I no longer have my wisdom teeth I'm 28 years old.

Based on your photos, I wouldn't recommend shortening the midface. The main thing I notice that makes your face look a little long (but not significantly) is a high forehead. The hairline can easily be brought down to put more focus on the rest of your face. An incision is made right at the hairline which can stay pink for several months, but it can be covered up with makeup. You would want to think about taking about a week off of work or school to recover while stitches are in place.
