Can in use an at home microderma roller along with my new medication 00.25 tretinoin for mild acne & scarring? (Photo)

I was recently prescribed tretinoin for mild acne & scaring I have deeper pits on my nose that have been there for about 7 years I've tried derma rolling at home on my own with little results I was wondering if I could use them together like derma roll lightly about once a week and apply my medacation before bed?

Yes you can - completely safe providing you follow the protocols. Personally we do not advice more than .5 mm rolling at home. For blackheads use AHAs like Neostrata 15 or even 10 in between skin rolling sessions. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim. Brisbane. Australia.

Hi There  Thank you for your question. Rule of thumb is roll till you go pink and then stop. Pressure should be light touch. In our experience 3 x week is enough. I hope that helps  Kind Regards  Dr Dinesh Maini
