I have advanced peri implantitis from an implant that was placed about 5 years ago. I've sought advice from professionals and received contradictory advice. The oral surgeon said to go to a periodontist who will treat with bone and gum tissue grafting. The periodontist said to go to a oral surgeon to have it removed. How can I find the right doctor for this?
