Hello. I’m a flutist and considering getting Botox (or other injectables) to curb fine lines and wrinkles. I’m worried that anything near my mouth will affect my embouchure muscles and will hinder playing. I can’t find much on this topic online. Is it safe for wind players to get injectables or will it affect the quality of playing? Thank you!!

The symptoms you described aren't typically associated with Botox and they were inconsistent among your injections. Without knowing more it's difficult to say what may have occurred.
Botox works by affecting the injected muscle's ability to contract, resulting in a softening of lines and wrinkles. It can also be used to slim the jawline, improve a gummy smile, and many other desired effects. I encourage you to meet with an expert injector to discuss your concerns and learn...
Botox might temporarily reduce the drooping of the eyelids or the eyebows. This causes opening the eyes which gives you the appearance of larger eyes. This is temporary. Effects of Botox disappears in time. You will be back to your old self in no time.
