This condition started over a year ago. Will Rogaine help to reverse this or will it make it worse? How long should I continue this treatment? Is there any advice?

Answer: Chronic Telogen Effluvium I don't think minoxidil (Rogaine) will make your condition worse however there isn't any high quality evidence to suggest it will help either. Minoxidil is effective for genetic hair loss and from that we hope it may be effective with other types of hair loss but there's no guarantee. If it is going to work then it will likely take a little more time so stay patient. I would recommend you see a qualified hair restoration physician to ensure you have the right diagnosis and to explore other potential options.

Answer: CTE Rogaine does not help everyone with CTE. If you don’t feel your shedding is improving be sure to see a physician. I’m sure you have ruled out genetic hair loss already.
