Is there a surgery to narrow the sides of the head and surgery to have a smaller nose?

Is there surgery to make the bones next to the eyes narrower not posterior temporal reduction surgery but actual bone surgery such as the sides of the head the upper and lower jaw and the forehead from the sides? Is there nose surgery to narrow the nose alars so that overall the nose is smaller?

The surgery to narrow the sides of the head is known as posterior temporal reduction surgery and is done through an incision placed behind the ear. Nostril narrowing or alar reduction is a common part of many rhinoplasty surgeries but can also be done as an isolated nose reshaping procedure.

Hi and welcome to our forum!Unfortunately we don't have any photos to determine the extent of the deformity in the area of your concern.A moderate degree of narrowing can be achieved with posterior temporal muscle reduction. If the deformity is extensive, craniofacial surgery is required to rearrange facial structures. It is a major complex undertaking, requiring many hours of multidisciplinary operating time after extensive preoperative planning. 
Rhinoplasty alar reduction, on the other hand, is a minor procedure, which often is performed under local anesthesia. However, a complete examination is required to determine if other structures require modification to maintain facial balance (as is usually the case).
Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for in-person evaluation and discussion.
