Will PCL nose thread removal during rhinoplasty cause any permanent damage to my nose?

I’ve gotten PCL threads in my nose for about five months now. I’m considering on getting a Rhinoplasty procedure done, the doctor said he might have to remove my threads during surgery. Will this removal cause any permanent damage to my nose? The threads I had were barbed.
