Will PCL nose thread removal during rhinoplasty cause any permanent damage to my nose?

Removing threads should not cause any appreciable damage to your nasal tissues. However, if your skin has reacted to them and created a lot of firm scar tissue, the surgery can take longer and have similar risks as having a revision rhinoplasty. In my experience these threads have easily been removed during rhinoplasty and it is best to remove them to reduce the risk of further scar tissue or uneven results from the foreign material.
