Why do my nostrils look weird after Rhinoplasty? (Photo)

it's has been 7 weeks and 2 days since I did my rhinoasty/septoplasty. The nose looks so big, I understand that may be because of the swelling but what bother me the most is that my nose holes look so weird. The are wide open and look like cercles. Will they close as swelling goes down or Am I done. Please reply I'm so scared

Hello, on occasion after rhinoplasty, changes made during the surgery can change the projection...of the nose and effect the appearance of the nostrils. In some cases the surgeon will notify those possibilities before surgery and get permission to remove a small piece of tissue to reduce the size of the nostril opening at the time of initial rhinoplasty. I am not sure what your nostrils looked like before surgery...but if they appear larger or more round to you...then after giving enough time for swelling to resolve, you can ask your surgeon to reduce the size of your nostrils. This is something that can typically be done as an in office procedure. Good luck.

Early result appears just fine. But healing can take 6 to 9 months in rhinoplasty surgeries. Best to discuss with your surgeon...
