It's hard to tell exactly the volume of those canisters. Perhaps they are 2 Liter each? So my guesstimate is around 8 pounds of aspirate. Good luck and hope this helps!
I agree with the other posters it appears to be 3-4 liters, quite blood tinged too. I think that you should as the surgeon because they are the experts who would know. The key in liposuction is not how much is removed but how much is needed to leave behind for the best outcome.
Those containers appear to be 2 liters that are mostly filled. However, the fat has not yet been settled to get the exact amount. The majority appears to be fat in the containers. I would suggest asking your surgeon the amount removed, and how much was fat.
My educated guess is around 3 to 4 liters of fat. Which is the allowable limit in the State of Florida office surgery guidelines. But why not ask the operative surgeon this question???
