So I was born with basically no temporal point. And was wondering if it was because of the way my skulls shaped? And if that’s a factor in transplanting hair for a temporal point? For example if you look at this picture and where the arrow is pointing, it looks like this curvature outlines the temporal point. My skull however feels more rounded off. Is this something that is checked in order to craft or outline a new temporal point on a transplant candidate? Can you put hair where it’s neverbeen

The ridge on the picture you show is called the temporal line. It is palpable but in the pocket where the ridge starts is a muscle called the temporalis so it gives everyone a rounded appearance and not a big step off like in the skull. When you loose hair in this region is it likely because of andogenic alopecia or male pattern hair loss. This can be replaced and is best done with a hair transplant. Hope that helps!

The temple points on the hair on the side of your frontal hairline is a left over remnant of your juvenile hairline and is easy to replace if you lost it.
