Can coughing cause a rupture or displacement of breast implants?

I have been coughing for a few days now. My chest hurts. My left breast hurts badly. Can coughing cause a rupture or displacement? Everything looks the same. I had gummy bears in July 2020.

it is unlikely that coughing will cause implant rupture or displacement. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

With coughing, you can strain your muscles, but probably have no affect on your implants. However, if you have fever, you may need antibiotics to prevent an infection around your implants.
