What will happen if I stop using Accutane all of a sudden? Without the advice of my doctor? (Photo)

I've been using Accutane for almost 4 months, the dosage that I used now very MWF 40mg and the rest was 30mg but it seems like my acne has no improvement though some of those healed but the redness was still there and it's still growing more acne. My doctor advised me to take Diane-35 for 3 months as well with my Accutane but it seems like the same..I also tried to used Conzace multivitamins because it has vit.e and zinc and still there's no improvement.. what should I do?

Thanks for your question.  It looks like you are suffering with fairly severe acne and might be developing some scars on the cheeks.  I wonder if you are on too low of a dose of the accutane?  Nothing bad will happen if you stop it suddenly, as it sticks around in the body for a few weeks after your last dose, but you must make sure there is no chance of pregnancy for at least 30 days after your last dose.  I encourage you to make an appointment with your dermatologist to discuss your dose and any other options like maybe adding spironolactone if hormones are a problem with the acne.
