Can a gastric cancer patient in remission undergo radio frequency procedures on the face?

I want to know if i can have radio frequency treatments on face for wrinkles and age spots etc. I am a gastric cancer patient but i am in remission right now...thank you

Theoretically , there is no contraindication for treating cancer patients with radiofrequency in an area other than the malignancy. However, any procedure can cause a stress on the immune system and I would check with your cancer doctor.

There is not an absolute contraindication for having this treatment however In this situation we would normal liaise with your oncologist to see of they were happy for you to undergo this treatment.Always seek a qualified and experienced physician when considering treatments in the future
