Food to eat while taking Isotretinoin?

Is eating high fat really recommended while taking isotretinoin? I saw some posts/reviews of the people who are on tretinoin and id like to confirm if it's true? Your answers would be much appreciated :) thanks!

Thank you for your question. Certain brands of isotretinoin need to bind with fat molecules to maximize absorption, therefore, it's recommended to take the medication with a high fat meal. On the other hand, there are other brands of isotretinoin that have fat molecules built into the medication and can be taken on an empty stomach. I highly recommend you consult with a board certified dermatologist regarding your questions and concerns. Take care and good luck.
