I've googled, youtubed n researched the hell out of this tie off method. I've had seven surgeries on both my ears for keloids. I'm 24 and I've been going thru this since I was in high school. It's been expensive and time consuming and overall exhausting. N due to my sugergeries my keloids are literally as big as my actual ears. I'm scared that it won't work for me. Help!!

Answer: Keloid on ear This keloid will be quite difficult to remove without surgery. I would recommend surgical excision with steroid injection (kenalog) right into the site. This will treat any remaking scar tissue and help to ensure that the keloid does not recur after treatment.

Answer: Scared to try tie off method for keloids on ear. With severe recurrent keloids I recommend excision timed with a series of radiotherapy from a radiologist MD/Radiation MD.
