I felt shooting pain with particular movements Wed. way worse than before. My tooth didn’t even hurt before the canal after/before taking antibiotics- the pain got slightly better after wed But no better Thurs. or Fri. I’ve taken aleve/ Tylenol which doesn’t really address the pain. I have yet to get the crown. how long is it ok to feel like this when should I start to worry that this isn’t normal- also my tooth was filed down and doesn’t touch...

Try Ibuprofen Therapy:  as long as you are not on any blood thinners or have stomach issues like GERD, IBS, Krohn's, colonitis, etc., take 800mg Ibuprofen every 6 waking hours x 3 days, regardless if you are in pain or not.  These 4 tabs (200mg OTC tabs each) equals prescription strength Ibuprofen, and should aid in counter-acting the inflammation.  After the 4th day, if you have no improvements, my recommendation would be to go back for a follow-up x-ray to make sure the tooth is not infected.
