There are crowns made for teeth and crowns specifically made for implants.  they are custom made and only work once.  Once the tooth underneath breaks down, another crown must be made to be an accurate fit.  Anything else would be substandard.

have your dentist help smooth down and make sure your bite is accurate so more does not break away.  good luck!

Three different types of whitening:

1) Over the Counter:  5% Hydrogen Peroxide (active whitening agent) or less.  Best one:  Crest White Strips 360 classic.  360 whitening on both sides of strip (whitening both front and back of teeth).  "Classic" 2 weeks. Studies show that it is not how concentrated the whitening agent is, but how long one whitens their teeth for to get better, longer lasting results.

2) Dental office: take-home trays; also recommended once nightly for two weeks.

3) in-office whitening:  1.5hr dental appointment where teeth are whitened at the office.  But I would recommend also having custom at-home trays made to whiten in six months and not be tethered to a dental office for whitening.  This is the most concentrated and one has the least control over how white one's teeth become.  

If you want the most control, then I would recommend the take home trays.  That way you can stop as soon as you feel they are getting too white.

Hi!  I have a patient who had #15 and 14 removed due to trauma in her early 20s.  At 38 her wisdom tooth had come in and she was using it!  But it had taken over ten years for this to happen.  Hope this helps!
