Would like to know what the best option for me is I'm 19 right now. Would want the best, quickest, and probably least noticeable option. Thanks
Answer: Invisalign vs Epigenetic Orthodontics The best option is to expand your underdeveloped maxilla. The best method is Epigenetic Orthodontics with the DNA Appliance. The teeth will self correct while expansion is taking place. This will develop a full wide healthy smile while improving physiologic health. The DNA Appliance is only worn 12-14 hours/day so it is less interfering in daily life.It looks like you may be somewhat tongue tied that could have added to underdevelopment of your jaws. I would have that evaluated by someone who understands physiology. You may want to consider seeing an Oral Myofunctional Therapist to correct oral habits that can cause relapse if untreated. While the DNA Appliance is amazing at growth orthopedics some patients benefit by fine tuning with invisalign after orthopedic growth is completed. Most do not find this necessary but Invisalign is amazing at aligning teeth even though it is not treatment of choice for expansion orthodontics.Don't let anyone amputate extract) any teeth in any circumstance.Ira L Shapira DDSDiplmat, American Academy of Pain ManagementDiplomat, American Board of Dental Sleep MedicineRegent & Fellow, International College of CranioMandibular OrthopedicsBoard Eligible, American Academy CranioFacial PainChair, American Alliance of TMD OrganizationsThinkBetterLife.com

Answer: "Snaggle Tooth" I love your description because where I grew up in NC, that is an apt description, lol! In all seriousness, you have crowding and protrusive canines. The least noticeable option is Invisalign. You have an Omega or horseshoe shaped arch and that mean that with arch expansion, significant space can be created and your teeth can be aligned. Get a consultation from an Invisalign certified general dentist or orthodontist. Beware of anyone who wants to remove teeth! Wish you well!
