Is foot swelling common post breast reduction? (photos)

7 days ago, I underwent breast reduction surgery. My breaststroke are still healing but I am concerned about my highly swollen feet. The swelling began 2 days ago. I am praying it's not lymphedema. Is this foot swelling common post-op?

I'm 5 weeks post breast reduction. Last night a friend hugged me very hard squeezing my breasts. Will there be damage?

Since you are 5 weeks post op the internal damage was probably minimal if any. Tenderness is common after breast reduction for up to several months anyway. If there is no external evidence of injury there should be no "permanent" damage to your result. You should probably take it easy for a few...

Is it ok to use heating pads on my breast for pain relief after a breast reduction?

Using heating pads after surgery is not usually advised as your skin sensation has been altered from the surgery itself. Sometimes you cannot feel that the temperature has become too high. Many patients who have used heating pads after surgery have sustained significant burns from them.
