We tell our patients that it is best to wait two weeks between any facial Exilis treatments. It is okay to do them every week but we have found that waiting two weeks in between treatments provides the ultimate results. So, to answer your question, you will still see results if you decide to wait two weeks; it is not just about the time in between treatments but also about the frequency of treatments. You can wait much longer than 1 week. The initial protocols considered one treatment every 4 weeks. Once a week schedule is more for the logistic reasons than anything else. On the other hand the treatment will be less successful if treatments are done every 4 days or less due to a specific cellular response to thermal injury. Good luck!
