After removing dental implant I'm having pain. Is this normal? How long will the pain last? (photos)

pls help me. I just removed dental implant screw from my upper jaw front. Because implant very close next tooth root plus not enough bone. Now already 15 days but still pain. My cheek, lips, gum, next two teeth, can't even speak properly and can't laugh. I told my dentist she say it is healing process is normal. It is true this are pain is normal ? After removing dental implant how long pain? after remove X-ray is normal my doctor say.

If you are still having pain in that area, the dentist MAY have drilled into the tooth when placing the implant which can be a problem. Consider seeing an endodontist (root canal specialist) to have him/her assess if the tooth has been affected. There could be other reasons for pain such a residual infection. Seek another opinion if you are in pain for another 1-2 weeks.

I would need more information to give you an accurate answer, however based on the information you provided, it is possible that this is part of the normal healing process.Assuming that after removing the implant the site  was grafted and there has not been any damage to the  adjacent  teeth,  then this could be very normal.Based on the complexity of the situation, I would recommend seeking a second opinion.I hope you  found  this information to be helpful,Dr. Champagne

15 days of pain after implant removal can happen, but it is a little more than what is typical.  Did your dentist do bone grafting and tissue regeneration after the implant removal?  Has your dentist looked in the area to rule of infection or dry socket?  Although not common in the anterior region, it can still happen.  Hope this helps.

On your second x-ray (the panoramic film) it appears that the computer mouse cursor may be placed on the problem you're experiencing - (unless its artifact) - which makes a definitive response to your question difficult.  But it appears that there may be damage to the adjacent tooth (which is your canine--or "eye tooth").  I'd recommend that you see an endodontist as soon as possible (root canal specialist) to see if that tooth is, in fact, causing your symptoms and if it can be salvaged.  You shouldn't be experiencing the pain you're describing.  Best of luck!!
