Will teeth move if I place an implant 4 months after extraction?

We typically do not see shifting of the teeth in this time period while waiting for a dental implant.  If your teeth are more prone to shifting your dentist can make you a clear retainer to wear in the interim to hold the space.  Good luck.  

Safe bet would be to get a retainer to hold the teeth in the current position.  This way you will avoid any shifting until your implant can be placed and restored.

Either your dentist or orthodontist can make a retainer that will hold your teeth in position during the healing process.

there r many types of retainers available, that will prevent tooth movement. in normal situation retainers are not required but in yr case there r chances of tooth movement just because of braces treatment.
