Why doesn’t my nodule completely go after multiple hyaluronidase steroid and treatments (Photo)

Had filler injected into the middle part of my jawline 2.5 years ago.A few wks after my Covid jab (4-5 months after filler),the right side of my jaw swelled up where filler was injected.Looked like a gumball had been inserted into my face.Now it’s the size of a pea after many hyaluronidase & steroid injections. Is there anything else the Dr can do to get rid of it?They were next considering lasering it. Could that work?And could I still get filler in the future?

Permanent nodules and bumps may result from temporary fillers. Temporary gel fillers can lead to varying amounts of scar tissue. I do not believe that a laser treatment would be effective, however, a dilute dose of triamcinolone acetamide may indeed be helpful for eliminating the small bump that may remain. If the filler has not dissolved, it could be because not enough was injected, but it could also be because this is not filler any longer but scar tissue (called a granuloma). If it isn't responsive to hyaluronidase or steroid, the best way to remove it is to surgically cut it out. This can be done with a small incision under the jawline. It wouldn't prevent you from getting filler in the future.
