Does the Florida law of 1 liter fat removal only apply to liposuction or does that include all areas removed? (Photo)

hi MakeoverMommma1111. One liter is the limit for office based surgery when another major procedure like you are planning is done. Keep in mind that you can't  get a much contouring in any given area if you divide the liter limit between 4 areas because removing 250cc may be too little (best determined by physical examination by your surgeon). Another option is to pursue surgery at a surgery center where the limits don't apply, if you have to have everything done one time. good luck on your decision!

Hi.  The 1 liter rule applies to the amount of "floating fat" from liposuction, and is in addition to the tissue excised during a tummy tuck.If you're doing just liposuction, and no other procedures, the limit goes up to 4 liters.

Again here is the State Office Surgery regulation. If doing ONLY liposuction than up to 4 liters of supernatant fat can be removed. If doing a combination of a i.e. Tummy Tuck than ONLY 1 liter supernatant fat can be removed. It does not matter where the fat come from as long as it is ONLY 1 liter... 

I think the best option in your case is TT, lipo, If your blood level is good and your have good health, I  think you can have TT and full lipo. Good luck lady.                                                               Dr. Manuel Marte.
