Can I get Botox and Juvederm on the same day as 2.0 microneedling?

We do the microneedling first and follow up with Botox. if you are concerned about doing them in conjunction, you can wait 72 hours. Best, Dr. Emer.

I do not advise getting Botox, Juvederm and microneedling on the same day.  As Dr. Long mentions below, it is perfectly fine to get Botox and Fillers done at the same appointment, but I would recommend doing the microneedling either several days before or several days after the injections.

Great question!  We often do injection procedures the same day as microneedling.   You have to start with the microneedling.  For sure no laser or microneedling after injections for about two weeks.   Hope this helps.

If you are doing microneedling first there usually is no need to wait to do fillers or Botox. If the filler or Botox is done first depending on the depth of fillers you may need wait to do microneedling if the injections are done more superficial since you would want to avoid spread of medication to unwanted areas. I always do microneedling first and the next injections after. 

I would not advise doing Botox,fillers and microneedling all on the same day. The microneedling could possibly interfer with the Botox and cause unwanted migration. I frequently use Botox and a filler the same day, and do the microneedling a few days later.  Lana Long,  MD
