Are these burns and scars from VI peel? (Photo)

Question

I have oily combination skin and kind of sensative sometimes with something strong to my face such as Vitamin C or retinol. I got VI peel for the first time to remove melasma on my cheeks. There was stinging and a little burn at the begining but nothing hurt. It took me almost 2 weeks to finish peeling but I noticed that there were some spots which is like burn didn't wanna peel. And after they finally peeled, they left me some red spots like scar. I need an advice...

If the photo that you submitted was slightly larger and if you had a "before" VIPeel photo, then it
would be easier to provide some incite into the ring shaped pigmentation. I will make the assumption that this ring was NOT present before treatment: Given the shape of the hyperpigmented  sore with normal colored skin in the center, My opinion is that you have Tinea Corporis or  "ring worm" infection. 
Of course I would recommend that you seek an opinion from your primary care physician and or a Dermatologist, however in the interim what you might try is applying Selsun Blue Shampoo on this area (avoid contact with eyes), let it dry on your skin ten minutes then wash off, twice a day. Any irritation, no improvement after two weeks, or allergic to Selsun Blue then discontinue and perhaps your physician will prescribe a topical Cream for you. Hope this finds you well.
