I am sorry that you feel that way. It can only happen if you have a severe gaging reflex & that will happen with a lot of things., specially that you have a foreign object in your mouth. If you have a good oral hygiene and you keep your aligner very clean too that will be helpful. Try not to think about it and it should go away.
Hi, sorry to hear that you feel like vomiting while wearing Invisalign. I have never heard of that in last 10 years but does not mean that it can not happen. You can try to increase the wear time slowly and see how it goes. Try to drink small sips of clear water as soon as you wear them and repeat every few minutes. Increase the interval and that should help you divert your attention and reduce vomiting.
Dear daifajar,I have seen this before with my pregnant patients or patients with a severe gag reflex. Sometimes, trimming the back of the aligners help. If you do have a severe gag reflex, you may have to allow yourself some time to adapt to the aligners. It is psychological so you should be fine with time. I hope that this helps and good luck. Best,Dr. Jenn

Most gag reflex are psychological but hard to control. Let your dentist know and see if there are any other solutions.
