Can my Invisalign treatment go faster as time goes on?

Hello there,Invisalign movements are carefully built in each tray based on a certain number of hours of wear per tray. The proper protocol is to wear each tray 22 hours per day for 14 days. As you wear your trays, they may begin to feel loose and you may notice the crown portion of your teeth has moved into place.  However, this does not mean that proper root movement has occurred.  At some point in the middle of your treatment, your trays will not fit properly. I do not recommend switching trays before two weeks to ensure optimal results. Good luck and I hope this helps. Hi, Invisalign works best for people who follow the wear and maintenance protocol properly. It works the way it has been planned by treating dentist. teeth What seem worse to you might actually need individually much lesser correction in each tooth. Maximum movement needed in any one tooth will determine the total overall treatment time.

You may not speed up the time of wearing your trays during Invisalign unless you have had accelerated Orthodontics such as Propel or Acceladent. The proper protocol for standard Invisalign wear is 14 days per aligner set for 20-22 hours per day. If you deviate from that protocol, you will get off track at some point and your result will not be what was planned for. If you're doing accelerated Orthodontics, it should be started early in your treatment and used throughout the complete treatment of your case. I hope this has been helpful.
