Eyelid feels heavy but doesn't look it. Is it inevitable that my lids are doing to droop?

Hello, i just got Botox literally 3 hours ago and my right eyelid feels a little heavy. I can still raise my brows with no problem and they don't look weird. Is it inevitable that my lids are going to droop?

I don't believe that your lid feeling this way means they will droop when the Botox takes effect. Botox does not work instantaneously so I doubt 3 hours is enough time to see a change. Wait one week or so before going back to the injector with any issues.Thank you for your question.Kate Ross, MD

Botox takes about 5-7 days to take effect, I doubt very highly that it has worked in 3 hours. You may be swollen.

I am not certain what is producing a "heavy sensation" but I do not think it is an omen of a droopy eyelid. I am optimistic you will do fine and like the result.
