Hi! I’m 27, and my face considerably drooped around 20 years old. The excess fat doesn’t go away, and didn’t considerably diminish when I lost weight. I’m considering a lipo/mini face lift, as I’m hoping to have a more graceful and heart shaped jawline. What would you recommend ?

Answer: Facelift - 27 years old Ok so for your age group, I would do FaceTite and 2-3 sessions of Morpheus (1st session during the FaceTite). I am not a believer of facelifts until the aging changes that facelifts address are visible- such as jowl formation, deep nasolabial folds and neck fullness with neck skin laxity. You do not seem to have any of those changes. Neck laser liposuction I used to do but there were no real safety cutoffs so I would recommend facial and neck contouring with FaceTite by InMode combined with the external treatment called Morpheus. Best Wishes!!!

Answer: Liposuction vs facelift I would first push to know a little more about your goals and what specifically bothers you about the neck and jawline to better address your concerns. Given your younger age, submental liposuction with a skin tightening device (Facetite, renuvion) will do a great job of reducing the fullness behind your chin and sculpt the jawline. A facelift or mini facelift will reposition the soft tissue and remove any excess skin, but based on these pictures you don’t have significant jowling to warrant it. If you are not interested in either of these techniques, other adjunct techniques that lengthen your chin will help you create a more defined neck and jawline. This is usually accomplished with either a chin implant (silicone or medpor) or an osseous genioplasty (where the chin is fractured and advanced forward secured with a titanium plate).
