Blister in belly button 2 months after tummy tuck. What can I do? (Photo)

Based on your photos, it looks as if you may have a bit of an infection in your belly button. Definitely get this checked out in person by a plastic surgeon in your area. My best,

This most likely is related to a suture. Sometimes as a suture is dissolving it turns into a small fluid collection which acts more like a pimple rather than allowing the fluid to dissolve and dissipate. If this is the case, having your plastic surgeon remove the stitch should fix the problem. However, if this is related to a permanent stitch which does not dissolve, this may be more difficult. Sometimes non-dissolving stitches are used in the deeper layers to suture the muscle together. Removing one of these can be a bit more involved. The first step is to visit with a plastic surgeon to assess the situation in person. From your history and photos, it seems that you may have a localized infection that requires treatment. I recommend that you have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. A blister in this area after 2 months is most likely due to a suture that has not dissolved and is causing a small abscess. This can be resolved by removing the suture. Your surgeon's office should be able to refer you to the surgeon that is covering your doctor in his absence. Good luck
