I had septoplasty and radio frequency of my turbinates done 2 months ago. I am now being told I have exposed bone in my inferior turbinate where the mucosa was "ablated too much". Will the mucosa tissue re grow to cover the exposed bone or will I have to have the bone removed?

Intranasal swelling is common after septoplasty. Our office specializes in septoplasty in Los Angeles and we advise patients to use SwellX tablets after surgery. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
Our office specializes in septoplasty procedures. Smoking may cause unecessary swelling and congestion. Wait a few weeks. SwellX tablets can help with postop swelling. Best,Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
You may still have residual swelling intranasally and in the soft tissue. I would suggest Kenalog IIT, SwellX to reduce swelling, and an intranasal inspection prior to corrective surgery.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
