Asymmetry and pain on left flank 6 months after BBL/lipo 360 (Photo)

I had lipo 360 with BBL in March of 2024. Just at thr 6 month mark. Two weeks after surgery I noted assymetry with my sides (flanks) and significantly more pain on the left side as well but figured it was only two weeks out so swelling will take some time and symmetry will come later. It’s not 6 months after surgery and the pain in my left side hasn’t gone away and the assymetry is still there. The first two pics were taken in April of 2024 and the last picture was taken in June of 2024.

Hi from Istanbul!Thank you for your question.Losing weight after a BBL surgery will not affect your results. Fat survival will be completed around 3-4th months postoperatively, losing weight will be in proportionally with your body.

Even the best communication between patient and surgeon can result in misunderstanding. In your case additional fat grafting of the areas of concern is needed. You have to decide whether you want to do it with your current surgeon or look for other one. Hope this helps.
