Is it normal for my areola and part of my nipple to be dark purple? (Photo)

Question

Part of my right areola and nipple is dark red/purple. I can't tell if this is just dried blood or possible circulation issues? Am I going to suffer permanent damages? Also, in the same nipple I have no feeling.

Thanks for your pictures. You need to go to your plastic surgeon immediately to have those steri strips removed so that the nipple-areolar complex can be evaluated!! If it truly is decreased circulation then that needs immediate measures to salvage the situation.

This is NOT normal!!! You need to see your surgeon ASAP for potential areolar necrosis. Appears as 40%+ of the right medial/superior areolar has necrotic areas.
