Exilis for small amount of abdominal fat? (Photo)

Question

I have a little bit of troublesome fat in the area below my belly button. A mix of Exilis and red light was recently recommended to me because there is not enough fat to treat w/ coolsculpting. Would you recommend Exilis or something else?

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

We have found that Exilis Ultra works great for pockets of stubborn fat. When someone is not eligible for Coolsculpting due to not having enough subcutaneous fat, we highly recommend either Exilis Ultra or SculpSure. Both uses Radio Frequency to target adipose tissue and kill it at high temperatures. Fat only dies at either extreme cold or extreme heat.

Our practice does Coolsculpting and Exilis Ultra. Coolsculpting applicators come in some very small sizes such as Petite and Mini. If the fatty area you have can be held in the applicator once suction is applied, then this is an option. Exilis ultra uses a combination of Radiofrequency energy and Ultrasound to kill fat cells and tighten skin. The balance between fat killing and skin tightening can be adjusted for optimum results and Exilis ultra is one of the most powerful devices of its kind on the market. There are also red and green light lasers which can be used to injure fat cells so that they leak fatty acids and shrink. However, the cells aren't killed and they can heal and get back to their original size. Exilis Ultra would be a permanent fix if your area of concern can't be coolsculpted.
