There are no sun restrictions after Infini. Because the needle tracts remain open for several hours, I restrict make up until the morning. Nothing should be put on the skin until the AM unless approved by your doctor. It is best to put nothing on your skin than put creams or lotions that aren't approved. Creams that normally might be ok to put on your skin can cause problems if they penetrate too deeply.
I don not advise on sun protection following INFINI RF. This is not a laser treatment, as the delivery of energy is deep in the dermal layer. The insulated needles protect the upper layers of the skin. The chances of PIH or skin darkening is v v v slim- even with 4-5 overlap passes. This is my treatment of choice of acne scars, skin rejuvenation and even stretch marks in patients of Ethic origin, as well as Caucasian patients. INFIN is a game changer or dermal remodelling / acne scars, as I am using less Fraxel- Profractional - Fractional CO2 laser since the event of INFINI.
