I am 29 year old i was done my FUT one month .... Before transplant i always take GNC vitamine C 1000mg in my daily routine but doctor recommend to stop before a week from my transplant ... It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. There should be no issue with taking vitamin C.

Thank you for writing. I don't think there is a problem restarting your vitamin C supplementation. Sometimes doctors. All supplements before surgery because there can be side effects that include increasing one's tendency to bleed. After the surgery, perhaps a week later , you can restart everything.Hope this helps.Dr. Beverly Johnson
