Thanks for your question.  Massaging after large volume liposuction may or may not help resolve lumps;  Lymphatic massage can help resolve excessive swelling and bruising after liposuction by increasing lymphatic uptake of the excess fluid and hemosiderin released from bruises.  Make sure to stick with the post-operative protocol that your surgeon has recommended for you.  Good luck and take care.
