TCA Hypopigmentation - is there anything I can do to treat this? (Photo)

I had a tca peel done 5 years ago that caused some web like hypopigmentation on several areas of my face. The dr. that performed the peel would like to perform 4 free fraxel dual laser treatments. I've read what could happen after this treatment and am too scared to try any laser. Is there anything else I should consider for the hypopigmentation, plus do to aging, large pores and uneven skin texture.

You might wish to consider the use of professionally performed manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) accompanied by the application of topical tyrosine and lanatoprost for blending the treated areas with the surrounding normal skin. As for the fraxel treatments, I have been cautioning my regular followers for years to exercise caution when evaluating them (as well as many of the other so-called, light and energy-based gizmos out there), since the hard science to back up the marketing hype and social media buzz that surrounds them lags woefully behind. And, if there is a skin of color issue, there is also an elevated concern for engendering pigmentary problems following laser and energy-based treatments. Manual microneedling, on the other hand, which I have been performing for over twenty-three years has a long safety and efficacy track record for use in all skin types and is also very useful for treating enlarged pores and other skin textural irregularities.
