Treating acne scars entails a combination of excisions, punch grafting , subcisions and fillers with spot dermabrasions as well all at once.
Hi, Thank you for your question. Subcision and filler is usually performed at the same time. We typically use Bellafill with a rigid cannula, to subcise and fill at the same time. If scarring is severe can subcise with punch excisions 1-2 months prior to subcising again with filler. You should get beautiful results from subcision and filler for acne scar. Best of luck with your treatment and than you for your question.Regards,Dr. Matt Elias
In my practice, I perform the submission first but if you've had punch excision, you likely had very depressed scars which required tissue reduction first. In that case, I would recommend submission and filler at the same session in 4-6 weeks after the punch excision.
You would need an in-person consultation to determine the answers to your request. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if you needed 1-2 syringes of filler depending on the consultation findings. Hyaluronic fillers like those from Restylane and Juvederm are the most common fillers used. ...
Yes you may switch anytime. You need to have a working trusting and positive relationship with a knowledgeable doctor that seeks your interest
Hi @name1234. Thank you for sharing your photos. You have very minimal laugh lines, but if they are bothersome you can correct them with a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler. Restylane Defyne and Refyne both work great in this area. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Liposuction of the jawline/jowls would improve the problem very easily and quickly with only 1 day downtime and you can drive yourself home.
These need a formal evaluation, but I find that clear + Brilliant, Fraxel or viva with microneedling help this a lot. If they are truly syringoma they need resurfacing or desiccation needle. Best, Dr. Emer.
