Answer: Treating Stretch Marks Microdermabrasion is likely to have little effect on your stretch marks as it does not work deep enough in the skin. I would recommend a course of CST treatments (Collagen Stimulation Therapy) also known as Medical Needling. This has proven to be quite effective in reducing the appearance of stretch marks. Make sure you research this procedure locally to you and go for a consultation to assess your options. Kind regards

Answer: Injectable Skin Boosters & Microneedling For Stretch Marks; Forget The Microdermabrasion For Just About Anything Stretch marks (striae) are admittedly difficult to treat with any of our current modalities. But one thing is nearly for certain, microdermabrasion is not the answer. In the old days, microdermabrasion was referred to as "epidermabrasion--" i.e. abrasion of the superficial epidermis. So, should you ever want to obtain this effect for any reason, you can save your money and time and take a Buf-Puf, Loofah, or even a stiff wash cloth and rub your skin vigorously. What I have found helpful for stretch marks is the use of injectable "skin boosters" (in my Israel satellite facility, the Restylane people have a regulatory agency approved injectable product called Restylane Skin Boosters, and in my Upper East Side practice, I use Belotero Balance). This approach, which involves microdroplet injections of the product in a grid-like pattern, tends to tighten and smooth the overlying skin, reducing the cigarette paper surface textural irregulaties characteristic of striae. Following this, or combined with it. I also use microneedling to further enhance new, native collagen and elastic fiber production and to further smooth the surface and blend the tone with the surrounding normal skin. For more on these techniques, check out the archives of RealSelf.com, and be sure you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician. Best of luck.

The only method that actually works with removing stretch marks or minimizing their appearance is laser. There are different lasers out there that do great job. Answer: Treating stretch marks on bum Your dermatologist will have a few options for treating your stretch marks, although unfortunately there is nothing great for them. Microdermabrasion is likely of minimal benefit, so save your money.
