Just recently part of my abdomen between my belly button and scar has recently gone numb as well as a piece on left hand side. Middle area has pins and needles sensation. PS has no idea what is happening and either do I. Scar looks fine. Had a steroid shot (kenelog) 2cc to the middle scar to reduce redness. Numbness happened one week after this. I was told the steroid shot would not cause any damage..can someone help me I have no clue what has gone wrong.

Thank you for your question. Your description is typical of first 3-5 days after TT. It is not that common to pull sutures out that easily. Please continue to follow instructions from your PS and follow up with him/her
Don't worry. Discuss this with you surgeon. I am not aware of any of my patient who cannot stand up straight at 6 weeks but certain it can happen. The ability to hyperextend and gain full motion of the torso can take this amount of time long or longer.
