Will hair on the nose tip/follicles go away if I have a nose job?

I have hair on the tip of my nose (on the outside) and my nose is kinda big. I have been considered nose job for a long time and was wondering if taking a nose job will remove or kill the hair on my nose too?

Great question!  Unfortunately no, having a rhinoplasty will not remove the hairs on the nose.  You can either keep timing them or get laser hair removal treatments.

Thanks for your question.  In most cases a rhinoplasty will not cause a reduction of nasal tip hairs.  It’s best to have laser hair removal. Best!

Thanks for your question. In general any hair or skin color marks you have will not change after rhinoplasty. Depending on your exam, the surgeon may be able to surgically treat the hair follicle from the underside during the procedure. This would be done only on a case by case basis, so make sure you bring it up with your surgeon! Warm regards.

Rhinoplasty surgery will not injure or make any hair growing on the skin of the nose go away. To permanently remove external nose hairs you will need laser hair removal treatments.
