What could be the cause of burning, sometimes tingling constant pain around a crowned front tooth?

Around 8 years ago I had a root canal done on my front left tooth with no crown placed. Then 3 years ago I had crowns placed on all front 6 of my teeth due to some breakage and everything was fine. Last year I bit on something hard and the front tooth was hurting constantly not horrible but noticeable. Saw an Endodontist who ended up redoing the root canal as he said the old one had some overfilling. That was 2 months ago and the pain is still there. What else could this be?
