I would like to improve 8 upper front teeth. One of the center teeth already has a crown which will be replaced. Should the matching partner tooth be another crown so it matches well or should it be a veneer to help preserve tooth structure?

Answer: Shade matching shade matching is very simple but only thing u have to take into consideration is choose good cosmetic dentist. also its my advice to discuss yr concert to yr dentist . and final thing is check shade before cementation. once cementation of veneers is done , no changes are possible.

Answer: Crown/Veneer The answer to your question depends on the dental ceramist who does the work. It certainly can be done but it's not easy. In my opinion, the only reason to do a crown on the other front tooth is if it should have one based on your bite or if the tooth needs one due to large filings being in the tooth. It shouldn't have to be done just to get a better shade match.
