I am a 28 year old male that is has currently about 6-7 months left on orthodontic treatment (braces). I want to get porcelain veneers after I finish treatment to achieve that perfect smile. How many veneers do you think would be best for me? I'll also need an implant, and to replace a few already existing crowns. Why do Beverly Hills cosmetic dentists seem to produce higher quality results than elsewhere ? Is it because of a better lab or better skills?
Answer: Most Esthetic Veneers for Hollywood Smile! Great Question, but there is no definitive answer. I will tell you Beverly Hills dentists tend to be more expensive regardless of quality. Also, some very expensive cases give mediocre results so here are things to consider. Esthetic results are based on multiple factors. My first observation is you have a narrow maxilla which will decrease final results. Ideally you would have done expansion with DNA Appliance prior to braces. This can be overcome by building wider smile into ceramics but better to orthopedically widen structure. Imagine build a fancy mansion on an undersized foundation. The Hollywood look is usually difficult to obtain with a maxillary cant which you have. The best smile designs have the best symmetry and gingival architecture. This can be corrected with DNA Appliance but may need some Crainal work or gingival corrections. Your right side is lower than your right side. Discuss with orthodontis now. Real teeth are not KITCHEN SINK WHITE and too white makes smiles look fake and opaque. No prep cases are best for minimal color changes but darker teeth often need reduction for ceramist to create best look. The translucency is the opposite of opaqueness, the chroma is the actual shade but the value is the brightness of that shade. To understand concept take a can of blue paint and add white paint to it. It will get whiter and white or have a "higher value" but will still be blue (chroma). Imagine adding a few drops of blue paint to a can of white paint, very high value blue. Same concept any teeth. Labs do make a difference, as the porcelain creation is art and some labs have better arttists than others. Custom stained is usually better than just straight ceramic. Add on ceramic tend to look best. Lots of planning goes into veneer so avoid like the plague a dentist who doesn't do a diagnostic wax up and transfer to your mouth. After prepping there should be a minimal of one visit to evaluate transitions before having ceramics made. Good labs often charge several times what other labs do. The lab creates the art with the dentist and the patient. The more steps the more time the more expensive. I frequently have done redo on veneers cases which is far harder than doing it right the first time. You must consider not just the teeth but the soft tissues of the mouth and the patients natural smile.Hope you find this helpful, it s a few of the items looked at.. I often have my ceramist in my office with my patients so we can all work together seeking the ideal result. CONTACT NOW Answer: Veneers Hi:The number of veneers depends largely on the final color you desire. The whiter the veneers the more teeth has to be done to cover the smile. Normally anywhere from 6-10 veneers are needed on top and bottom to make sure you have a natural smile. With regards to Beverly Hills dentists, there are three main factors:1. Higher skilled dentist since more veneers are done in Beverly Hills than any other place. Same is true of plastic surgery.2. Higher quality lab3. Clientle are much more demanding Best,Dr. Maddahi

Answer: How to find best cosmetic dentist You have a broad smile, and a lot of times I recommend going as far back as you can see to complete the look (for you that looks like possibly 10 veneers). You may find that completing the front 6 will make you happy, and that the sides don't show too much for you. The number of veneers you do really depends on the look you are looking for and what end results you want. Make sure you do your research and see a dentist who is very experienced with cosmetic work prior to having any treatment done! Go to a lot of consultations and look at a lot of before and after photos! (you can check mine out on my instagram @DrYazdan or on my website) for some ideas. Dentists in Beverly Hills are not necessarily better that dentists in other parts of the state, or even country for that matter. I recommend doing several consults and go with the doctor who's photos you really like, and also who you really trust. I see a lot of veneers done that end up looking very bulky and unnatural, so make sure that you analyze photos to see if the work done looks natural and complementing.

Answer: How to find the BEST porcelain veneers dentist that compares to those in Beverly Hills? You have plenty of time to due your due diligence in search of the Best porcelain veneers dentist for you. There are several factors that are involved in getting the type of result that you want for your smile. The three most important factors are the skill and experience of the dentist, the expertise of the dental lab technician, and the ability of the dentist, lab technician, and patient to communicate effectively. You, as the patient must be able to express your desires and expectations to the dentist, and discuss with him if they are attainable. Once the dentist understands your goals and desires, he along with the dental laboratory technician must create a blueprint for your smile. To do this will require a series of pre-operative photos and impressions, a written prescription including length, width, shape, and color of the porcelain veneers. Prior to doing any treatment or preparation of your teeth, a diagnostic wax up will be created, showing all of the above except color. This is a key component of your smile blueprint, and a step that cannot be skipped. Once you approve what you see in the wax-up, the dentist can then begin your treatment. On the day your teeth are prepared for the new porcelain veneers, the wax-up will be used to created your temporary veneers, which will duplicate in your mouth what you have approved in wax. Once your temporaries are created, you can wear them for a few days or a week to decide if you are happy with the appearance and how they feel(does the bite feel corrrect, how do your lips feel, how is your speech affected?) Once you give your approval, the dentist can have the dental lab technician fabricate your veneers in the shade that you have agreed upon. At the delivery visit, the dentist should try in your veneers so you can confirm that you are getting what you want and have agreed upon. This needs to be done prior to permanently bonding the veneers to your teeth. If all of these steps are followed, you will be assured of getting the result that you want. Hope you find this information helpeful. Dr. Gary Braunstein
