Upper lip hair nightmare! Help! Botox? Fillers?

While Botox
and Fillers are great for eliminating wrinkles and improving the appearance of
scars, these procedures will not reduce upper lip hair. Consider a Laser Hair Removal Treatment for permanent
removal of upper lip hair. Depending on

Controlling the grow of the upper lip hair could be difficult in certain patients. This may require serial (multiple) treatments that aim to destroy the hair follicle (what makes the hair grow).Botox, a medication improves lines and wrinkles by weakening/ paralyzing the facial muscles underneath these lines does not affect the hair follicles. There are several options for reduction of unwanted hair.  Vaniqa® is an FDA-approved prescription cream clinically proven to reduce the growth of unwanted facial hair in women.  It works well as long as you continue to use it.   Laser hair reduction is another option.   Patients will require multiple treatments because the hair is at different stages of its growth cycle.  Laser hair reduction works best on darkly pigmented hairs but it also depends on your skin type. Hope this helps. 

Please consult a real dermatologist or facial plastic surgeon who is offering Real LASER for Hair Removal and not IPL or the wrong wavelengths and selling it as "Laser hair Removal". There is no way that you cannot be effectively treated with the correct LASER unless there is no contrast in pigmentation between your skin and the hair.
