Is a tight sports bra a good form of compression after sclerotherapy on breasts?

I just received a syringe of sclerotherapy today for the veins on my breasts. Is a tight sports bra better compression than gauze and surgical tape? I wore the gauze and tape all day and it was very uncomfortable on my skin. My skin felt very irritated and sore due to the tape. Because breasts are shaped differently than a leg, I feel like this is not the most ideal form of compression for breasts. My doctor office is closed and I want to ask an expert.

Yes.  I feel a tight fitting sports bra is adequate compression of breast after sclerotherapy of breast veins.  If there is area that is not as adequately compressed with the bra, you could consider putting a cotton ball or rolled up gauze pad under the bra to hold additional compression over the treated area.

Yes,  a firm fitting sports bra is adequate compression following breast sclerotherapy. I would recommend wearing this for 48 hours post treatment.
