I really want to remove them but even if I know we cant be sure at 100 percent if it will work, I will be happy to have advice, informations or eve example of people who did it. I know it will very expensive and might take a long time (Between 8 to 12 sessions I believe) so At least a year or two. Thanks, Hanna

Answer: Full Sleeve Tattoo Removal Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have your tattoo removed with laser tattoo removal. I like to use the Picosure laser which can remove 70-90% of a tattoo. It works best to remove dark colors such as black, blue, purple and green. It can take up to 6-10 sessions to remove a tattoo and the average cost per session to remove a large tattoo is $500-$1000 per session. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!

Answer: Arm tattoo This is a very large tattoo with dense ink on dark skin. I would recommend the Picoway laser. This uses vibrational photoacoustic energy and less heat. It is a large surface area and I would strongly recommend that we numb the area prior as it is a large surface area. I would be careful with the amount of surface area due to possible swelling in the arm with treatment. I would be careful with this dense of ink and the amount of area and if it is circumferential at least on the first visit to see how you do. The Picoway laser is the best for this and uses less heat and more vibrational energy literally shattering the ink in the tattoo. Consider a consultation. This will probably take more than a year to remove at sessions around every 2 months.

Answer: Is it posible to remove a full sleeve tattoo? Hello, thank you for your question and for including photos. The latest technology in laser tattoo removal is the pico-second technology. The PicoWay Laser (Candela/Syneron) uses photoacoustic impact/pressure waves rather than photothermal/heat. This process has less heat, therefore it is more comfortable and the chances of hyperpigmentation are less. The Pico-second pulse shatters the ink into even smaller particles, allowing the body to more easily absorb the ink. This type of technology can usually remove unwanted ink in about half as many treatments as the traditional Q-switch devices. That being said, these are very large/dense tattoos. Because the body also plays a part in the removal process, it is impossible to guarantee anyone 100% removal. Also, location of the ink on the body often determines how many treatments will be necessary. When ink is on the trunk of the body, the blood flow is more efficient, ink on limbs (arms & legs), because the decrease of blood flow, usually take more treatments. The other thing that you need to consider is what the facility you pick uses to manage the discomfort. For a tattoo that size, we would definitely numb with lidocaine injections prior to treatment. It may be such a large area, that just a portion can be numbed at one time, due to the maximum dosage of lidocaine you body can tolerate, based on your weight. You can click on the weblink below and put in your zip code to "find a provider" in your area of this technology.Good Luck!
