This tattoo is black, a year old and near my ankle. I know it varies and it may be hard to answer this, but how many sessions do you think until it is gone? Any other information is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal The newer picosecond lasers would be best for treatment. You will require multiple treatment sessions - typically 6 or more to see the desired results. Consult with an experienced physician.

Answer: Your small, black tattoo. Your small tattoo is very removable, and just about any laser is up to the job. In the end, your success is more dependent on who is handling the laser than on the laser itself. Choose a medically-trained, insured, and experienced practitioner. Check the laws in Maryland, Virginia, and the District, to protect yourself from underqualified personnel. In some jurisdictions only physicians can handle medical lasers, while in others completely untrained people can if they’re “supervised.” You can guess what level of supervision is common. Good luck to you!
